The Illini Union Board is the largest student programming board on campus, providing exciting and entertaining events and activities for the University of Illinois. Since 1942, the Illini Union Board has planned thousands of programs and services such as Illinites, large scale lectures, weekend comedians, weekend concerts, cultural programs, and events promoting campus tradition.
The Student Voice of the Illini Union
In addition to our programming responsibilities, we also serve as the “Student voice” in the Illini Union and advise the Union Director on building policies and procedures.

The Illini Union Board is made up of 11 different programming areas. We program events ranging from African American Homecoming to Musical Productions, Craft Fairs to Fashion Shows, Illini Union Art Gallery Exhibits to LGBT events. There is something for everyone!
