Featuring: A fun and thrilling night themed around the carnival…featuring the amazing talents of Justin Kredible – like a magician, but cooler, Hypnotist and local celebrity Andy Dallas and performance by Capoeira. Come get your face painted, eat a snow cone, enjoy some live music, show off your talent at Open Mic Night and the Battle of the Rock Bands, partake in a Royal Ball with the cast of the IUB Musical Cinderella, and make your own button and mask!
Illinites is a late night program featuring free entertainment, free activities and free food for student participants.


An Evening with Sean Astin

Spend an evening with Sean Astin, the Academy Award nominated producer, actor and director as he discusses the roles of leadership and teamwork throughout his work and life experiences.

Tickets available now at Ticket Central in the Illini Union. Limit 2 tickets per I-Card. Seating is limited. Please note, this program is primarily for U of I students. Non-U of I students will be permitted based on seating availability the night of the performance beginning at around 7:55pm. Seating priority will be given to U of I students.


“Julie & Julia” - Girls Night Out Film Series: Movies for Women

Synopsis: Based on Julie Powell's book "Julie & Julia: 365 Days, 524 Recipes, 1 Tiny Apartment Kitchen." Julie Powell recounts how she conquered every recipe in Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking and saved her soul. Julie Powell is 30-years-old, living in a rundown apartment in Queens and working at a soul-sucking secretarial job that's going nowhere. She needs something to break the monotony of her life, and she invents a deranged assignment. She will take her mother's dog-eared copy of Julia Child's 1961 classic Mastering the Art of French Cooking, and she will cook all 524 recipes. In the span of one year.

After each 2pm Matinee, there will be a character meet and greet opportunity for children and, of course, the young at heart.

Tickets on sale at Ticket Central in the Illini Union (open M-F, 12-4pm) and at Assembly Hall Box Offices. Tickets will also be on sale at the door 45 minutes prior to the performance. The venue, Foellinger Auditorium, is located at 709 S. Matthews Ave. in Urbana, IL 61801.

Beauty Before Me: Featuring the Works of Joe Yazzie

Beauty Before Me is the IUB's latest art gallery opening! It features the work of Joe Yazzie, a full-blooded Navajo who was born and raised two miles from the Pinedale Trading Post in New Mexico. His artwork is all about the Navajo people, the color, the horses and sometimes the dreams from the night before.

Although this gallery will show for a month, come out to the opening!

Refreshments will be served!
